Youth Sail Camp – 420’s
Campers will be introduced to the fun of sailing through classroom education and sailing in Dutchman’s Creek.
Learn to “ride the wind” in clubs 420’s as two person crews. Campers will learn boating basics, rigging, right of way rules, points of sail and sailboat maneuvers.
We will also be covering new STEM skills each week of camp. Must be able to swim and pass swim test that is given the first day of camp.
Youth Sail Camp – Optimist Dinghies
Campers will be introduced to the fun of sailing through classroom education and sailing in Dutchman’s Creek. Learn to “ride the wind” in youth sized Optimist dinghies (single handed with student weight < 120 pounds).
Campers will learn boating basics, rigging, right of way rules, points of sail and sailboat maneuvers.
We will also be covering new STEM skills each week of camp. Must be able to swim and pass swim test that is given the first day of camp.
