2019 Amateur Wine Competition

Enter your wine and compete for gold, silver and bronze medals in various award categories. Your wine will be judged by an expert panel of AWS wine judges. This competition will be conducted in cooperation with the OIB Chapter of the American Wine Society, and Silver Coast Winery. Gain recognition for your winemaking skills, and get valuable feedback on your wine from the judging panel. Winners will be announced at Wine Fest 2019 on April 27, 2019.

Sunset Beach Summer Market LogoBeautiful jewelry, pottery, woodcraft and much more awaits the market visitor.  The Market will be located at the Sunset Beach Town Park, 206 Sunset Blvd. The 2018 season is scheduled weekly on Thursdays from May 3rd thru Oct 11th, 2018. Hours will be from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.  We look forward to seeing you there.

This market was created to provide local growers and artisans a venue to sell their goods to customers, to encourage the use of local farm products, locally prepared foods and to enhance the quality of life in our communities by providing social gathering and interaction.

We encourage residents and visitors to attend our markets and connect with our various crafters and growers who enhance our local communities.

The market will be held weekly at the Sunset Beach Park, 206 Sunset Boulevard, Sunset Beach, NC.

Southport Concert Series

The Southport Concert Series is here to liven up your summer nights! The concerts feature some great beach and rock and roll music–perfect for a summer evening! The concert schedule is posted below.

Concerts will be held at the Franklin Square Park located at 130 East West Street, Southport, NC. So grab some beach chairs and your dancing shoes and come on out! All concerts are free! Concerts start at 6 pm.
