This Friday, August 8th, enjoy an evening with The Extaordinaires as the the 2025 Oak Island Free Concert Series continues!
Formed in the spring of 2003 from a group of guys who love The Classics/Rhythm & Blues, The Extraordinaires have put together a unique blend of music that is sure to get people out of their seats and on the dance floor. From the powerful kickin’ horns to the smooth lead vocals, The Extraordinaires have a “Pure Live” sound like no other that will keep you coming back. Based out of the Hickory/Charlotte area, they’ve played from Oklahoma to Washington to Jacksonville, Fl and all points in between. They are pure entertainers that will keep the dance floor full. 
The sun is out, the fun is back, and the “Bands by the Beach” are once again ready to rock, groove, swing and swoon their way through the soundtrack of your perfect summer! For 16 weeks on Fridays from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm at the Middleton Park Ampitheater, we turn the amps up to “11” and come together for the annual Town of Oak Island Summer Concert Series. Full series information, concert dates, and scheduled bands are listed below, along with a calendar. Start making your plans NOW to join the “Bands by the Beach” in what is sure to be great sounding summer! Concerts are held weekly at 6:30 p.m. at Middleton Park Complex Amphitheater. Blankets, lawn chairs and picnics are welcome. All concerts are held on Friday unless otherwise listed:
