This Friday, July 25th, get your groove on with Rivermist Band as the 2025 Oak Island Free Concert Series continues!
Rivermist was formed in July 2014 in Fayetteville, NC. The band is collaboration of musicians that have between them, over 200 years of playing/ singing experience.
Rivermist’s love of audience appeal, along with the desire to preserve music familiar to their roots, is what sparked the formation of the group. “RIVERMIST” is primarily a Classic Rock/ R&B/ Variety/ Party band, and has been voted been voted Fayetteville/ Ft Bragg’s “Best Band” by Up & Coming Weekly Newspaper, 6 years running! They have almost 7,000 followers on Facebook, as well.
Now Rivermist has NEW, original songs available for download, and has been nominated for CAMMY award for their song, BEACH LIFE (Beach). Also, they were named the 2021 “Vocal Group of the Year” by the CCMA in January of 2022!
Their shows are FUN; however intensively performed as only professionally driven musicians will give. They realize success will always be judged by their fans first. Rivermist’ harmonies, as well as the musicianship, is something that needs to be experienced. The shows are also energetic, so booking Rivermist at your venue is a great choice, and will definitely make it a more exciting event!
The sun is out, the fun is back, and the “Bands by the Beach” are once again ready to rock, groove, swing and swoon their way through the soundtrack of your perfect summer! For 16 weeks on Fridays from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm at the Middleton Park Ampitheater, we turn the amps up to “11” and come together for the annual Town of Oak Island Summer Concert Series. Full series information, concert dates, and scheduled bands are listed below, along with a calendar. Start making your plans NOW to join the “Bands by the Beach” in what is sure to be great sounding summer! Concerts are held weekly at 6:30 p.m. at Middleton Park Complex Amphitheater. Blankets, lawn chairs and picnics are welcome. All concerts are held on Friday unless otherwise listed:
