
A sincere “Thank You” to everyone who participated, donated, attended, and helped to promote the BANDING TOGETHER: Relief for Western NC benefit concert & donation event this past Sunday, November 3. Because of your unity and generosity, the Town of Oak Island raised over $27,000 in financial donations and collected a 26′ box truck full of needed supplies for the town of Spruce Pine, NC, in support of their ongoing recovery efforts following devastation from Hurricane Helene.
By working together as one community helping another, this event showed that no amount of political, social, or economic differences can stop the people when they are united in the cause of loving and supporting each other.
This past Sunday, November 3, 2024 the Town of Oak Island will hosted “Banding Together: Relief for Western NC” a four-band concert to benefit the region of Spruce Pine, NC.
This event washeld in the Middleton Park Complex, located at 4610 E Dolphin Drive, and is in direct coordination with town officials from Spruce Pine.
