This Friday, August 7th, get your groove on with The I-42 Band as the Oak Island Free Concert Series continues!
Based out of Eastern North Carolina, The I-42 Band is a High Energy, Dance, and Party Band, with a strong emphasis on our roots and the love of the music we grew up with, called “Beach Music.” We love to entertain, as well as focus on dance music, and
especially “shagging.” We offer a wide variety of Beach, Motown, Soul, R&B, and Funk, as well as Classic Standards.
The sun is out, the fun is back, and the “Bands by the Beach” are once again ready to rock, groove, swing and swoon their way through the soundtrack of your perfect summer! For 16 weeks on Fridays from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm at the Middleton Park Ampitheater, we turn the amps up to “11” and come together for the annual Town of Oak Island Summer Concert Series.
