Oak Island Earth Day / Arbor Day Festival — This year celebrated across TWO different locations throughout Town!
Friday, April 26, 2025 • 12:00 – 4:00 PM
- Join us in the Middleton Park Complex for educational and interactive opportunities, provided by the local organizations that work to make Earth the best it can be. Booths, demonstrations, and active play opportunities will all be present.
- Join us at Bill Smith Park for our Tree Dedication Ceremony (2:00 PM), where will have a food truck, an orienteering course, and opportunities for active play, in addition to a giveaway of ONE HUNDRED Live Oak saplings (1 gallon). Tree City USA representatives will speak from 2:30 PM – 2:45 PM, and two Live Oaks will be planted in celebration of Arbor Day at 3:00 PM.
