Calling all runners! The Maritime Classic Road Race is a local favorite, and Bald Head Island is truly a runner’s paradise.
The 31st annual Maritime Classic features a one mile Fun Run, 5k and 10k race. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Old Baldy Foundation to support their Fresnel Lens fundraising campaign.
The Fun Run starts at noon on November 7th, and the 5K and 10K start at 12:30. Early registration is $50 for race, t-shirt and round-trip ferry passage and $35 for race and t-shirt only. Race day registration is $55 for race, t-shirt and round-trip ferry and $40 for race and t-shirt only.
